Libya is disconnected from the network.

The companies that deal on the control of the network traffic INTERNET informed that, during the night (MS) the main Internet provider in Libya, which belongs to the Government Postal Service has blocked access of the citizens of Libya to the INTERNET.

Before the general obstruction, the administration tried to block specific sites like Facebook, Twitter and the site of Al Jazeera, but now it seems as if the obstruction has expanded and includes all the network.

Libya Web blocking occurs on the background of demonstrations that began in the country last Tuesday. As in Egypt , even here network plays a role in organizing demonstrations, it gives citizens social tools.

Note that disconnecting the INTERNET in Egypt did not prevent the Egyptian people to continue demomstrating, until Mubarak resigns.
